Honey bees, although self-sufficient, need our attention to assist and combat hot weather.
Water Source, Important. If a natural water source is not available, drip hose on rocks or board or a pan of water w/ rocks or wood floats is helpful.
Shade. Hives facing East for early sun with bushes/trees behind for late afternoon shade very helpful.
Ventilation. Screen bottom boards good. Create upper entrance to vent heat. Careful of robbing as honey flow has ended.
Fanning. May see bees “bearding” (hanging from bottom board) in hot weather. Just trying to cool off and will re-enter hive as day cools. Not to be confused w/ swarming.
Good luck all!
